Transmission Pops Out of Gear Under Hard Acceleration

Hi,

As the title states, lately I've been having an issue with the transmission coming out of gear under hard acceleration.

After reading through the NAG1 (5-Speed) Automatic Transmission/TCM Refresher Info

I believe I'm getting the "Loss of Drive" fault.

It usually happens right at 5800 rpm or when the transmission should do it's 1-2 or 2-3 shift. It just goes into a "neutral" state not responding to AutoStick changes or anything until the car is turned off and re-started. After re-start it responds and changes gears as it should under normal driving.

The Check Engine light will be lit but there are no codes showing when I try to read them with my Trinity. I assume this is because the Trinity is reading the PCM and the Fault is in the TCM

After one or two re-starts the Check Engine light goes away.

The car is a 2009 Chrysler 300C 5.7 with the following mods;

Cold Air Intake
Long Tube Headers
Hi-Flow Cats
Cat Back Exhaust
3.92 Rear Differential
Hemi-Fever Custom Tune
20'" Wheels

I have made the appropriate adjustments to the tune concerning the Final Drive Ratio / wheel & tire size. I have ran the car on the street and the track with these mods without issue until recently.

What could be causing this?

Thanks in advance

I don't think it is your transmission. Sounds like Hal is shutting you down due to something it doesn't like.

Try upping your rev limiter.
