I have a 13 charger pursuit and have already done a 392 swap. I like the 5 speed, and the SHR valve body helps, but a 6 speed would be so much more fun. So far I have learned that the trans tunnel and TCM are the same part number and the TCM can easily be changed over to manual. So if your going to tell me it's not possible and it wont fit save it. I want to know if the tr6060 has any electrical connections coming from the engine harness, any connections on the clutch assembly and if the firewall has any holes specifically for the clutch. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I'll be following this thread. I have been curious about doing a TR6060 swap in my Mopar11 as well. I probably won't anytime soon but would love to row my own gears. I think it would make this car perfect.
I also have a M11 and came across this doing research. Just sold my motorcycle and I have a lot of money burning a hole in my pocket lol. I would imagine us M11 guys would have the easiest swap since the entire rear end came from the 6speed Chally.
I had a tree fall on my car and damage the roof so the trans swap has been put on hold for now. Really soon I will be getting a dss driveshaft and installing a scat pack rear subframe, so when the time comes I can just have the driveshaft shortened. A real close friend of mine picked up a 6 speed scat pack so when I do eventually start the swap I will have an original manual car to look at.
A little update, after looking at the PCM connector pin outs for a 2013 challenger and charger I can see that all the clutch interlock, reverse lockout, and skip shift pins are empty on the chargers wiring so in theory those wires could be added to the harness fairly easily. Also, the chargers PCM has pins in every slot whether or not they are used from the factory so if tuning can activate the circuits needed for the manual swap the chargers factory PCM can be used. At this point all I need to know to be certain its possible is to know whether or not the pins on the chargers PCM, when tuned for the manual, are activated for the necessary circuits.
