Is it possible to swap the entire rear cradle with suspension from a 2012 SRT into a 2007 RT/Daytona? I can get a good deal on a low miles unit to replace my current failing rear, and swapping the whole thing seems easier to do than part by part.
Should be a direct bolt in. I swapped in a '16 Hellcat Charger into my 06 and only had to swap out the wheel speed sensors and harness. I did not use the HC rear suspension as it was the electric adjustable and I did know what setting it defaulted to if unpowered. I used my Nivomats and springs with no issues.
Thanks. That is pretty much what I thought and hoped. Don't mind if have to swap wiring and use existing struts. Just want the whole differential axles and hubs to work with minimal hassles.
I had to get a custom driveshaft as i was staying with the new 3.09 diff from the Scat Charger. I tried the 2.62's from the HC but couldn't get my gears changed in the TCM...so I went with the 3.09 and set my ratio to 3.07 with my Predator.
When i had my 2012 SRT Getrag in there, I used my stock driveshaft with no issues at all.
I personally was amazed at the difference between the 3.06 and the 3.09 differentials. 3.09 seems so much tighter and smoother. I didn't think there would be much change at all, but it is noticeable.
Well worth the effort....except now I am seeing Cleveland Power and Performance has the whole package for a LOT less than what I paid...grumble grumble grumble... -.-
only did test drive in mine before putting it away before winter. just the way it mounts plus twice the amount of bolts for rear coupler felt way better. Hello next summer to back up results. Also waiting on ctp solid cradle bushings to pretty much finish this build.
