Pink Tranny Fluid

I have an 05 Magnum RT. My transmission has been leaking some fluid, so I decided to get it checked out. Took it to a mechanic to have the gasket checked and when he opened up the pan to check the gasket he found the fluid was pink. Said water had gotten in the transmission most likely by a leak somewhere in the radiator. I went to the radiator shop and they said that the oil cooler is separate on these radiators and that the water from the radiator could not mix with the tranny fluid. According to a couple of transmission shops I will need to rebuild the transmission because it will probably fail on me soon. Before i do that I want to figure out how the water is getting in. Has anyone else had this problem?

Please help.

We did run the AC while the car was on the lift and did notice there was quite a bit of water running off of the top of the tranny, but could not see where it could get in. That is an interesting thought. Is there a way to seal the area around the dipstick area? or can the ac drain just be rerouted to a different area? or both. Have you had to do that?

It's not a thought it's a fact and there was a TSB about this on the 05's and 06's. Seal the trans tube with silicone and rune a hose off the a/c drain down the other side of the trans. You will need to completely flush the trans and keep you fingers crossed the converter isn't trashed.
