So the stock size is 245/45-20, I see the upsize with the same diameter is 275/40-20...but these tires are 1.3" wider. Will they fit front and back or just on the rear? Vehicle is a 2016 Scat Pack Challenger.
Thanks! The stock rims are 20x9, correct? The specs on the 275's list 9" as the smallest rim they should be mounted on. By way of comparison, the stock 245's say a 9" rim is the widest they should be mounted on....
You won't have any issues running 275's on there. There are MANY of us doing it!
Don't worry about that suggested rim width between the 245/45 and 275/40. You'll like the look and handling of the 275's enough, you'll wonder why they didn't come on the car to start with.
Yup, I'm on my 3rd set of 275's all around... Ride comfort and handling... Our big rides need big paws...
