One other important thing about the Air Intake Temp Sensor. The 279AC does in fact react quicker than the older model 279AB sensor. This part number is molded into shaft below where connector connects.

Sorry if discussed before but a good refresher course for those looking for the very last drop.

All those drops adds up. I understand 6.4 run 11. 5 NA. Of course they are on the Jenny Craig Diet.

Dry Ice in Hot weather drops intake temp and ramps up timing easier. Give it a try next time in Mexico.

Pull 3 plastic rivets from drivers side wheel liner, break up 10 pound bag dry ice and insert. Be careful wear gloves it's cold. Reinstall rivets. Frosting up the wheel liner you see down low. Let sit for a few and start car. Intake temps should slowly drop. Drive car and they drop a bit more.

Intake Hoses | IntakeHoses.com - Couplers, Elbows, Silicone or Rubber, Tubing, Clamps seems to have few items you can put together for about $100.00.
K&N has a 4" tube that can be shortened to use the 22* bend with reducers on each end. You have to call k&n to order the tube, ($50).

You may have to do what I did for my Cadillac ATS.
    Parts

    Mock up before trimming.

    Install...
Note - I used std hose clamps until I got the proper size T clamps.

I had this flow tested and It flowed better than the stock version and just about equal to the $$$ after market ones. Total cost about $75 IIRC.
