    Cherokee 6.1 smoking after rebuild

    Hey folks

    I have a friend that's in a rebuild process of the 6.1 from a Cherokee 6.1, but he is having a lot of problems with smoking as it can be seen in this video

    Sorry for the Spanish but you get the idea lol

    I think the problem is somewhere about rings, I think he missed something along the way

    Yup!!... how can we discard blown head gasket, cracked rings or even cracked block?

    Those are the possibilities right?

    Sounds like vacuum to me.

    What did he do to "rebuild it" and why did he do it in the first place?

    My guess is maybe the intake gaskets around the PCV passageways in the right hand cylinder head are not doing their job.
