Beware of Amerihood

Granted...Amerihood makes "cool" aftermarket hoods. And this is my experience. If I can recommend a company that is customer oriented, Amerihood would be last to recommend. Norbe from Amerihood will be glad to accept payment real quick, but god almighty, when you cancel an order (custom or not) you better be ready to be put on stand and get grilled about it.

Norbe complains to me about a "restocking fee" of $17.00 for a $1150 hood that Amerihood has to "eat". For someone that represents a company, he definitely doesn't know how to do that. If anything, Norbe and the management that works for Amerihood does the opposite and makes customers feel bad for canceling. They treated me with utmost respect when I bought something but when I canceled, it was a total a opposite.

Either way, I paid and canceled. And when I canceled, I was never given any confirmation of my cancelation. I have not received my refund of $575. I have since filed a case to the local sheriffs in Chino, Ca, as well as my financial institution. What makes technology good nowadays is that a company isn't hard to reach and they are very touchable by means of social media. I don't like to blast but when a company like Amerihood rips off a paying customer of $575 and not return it to the rightful customer, I will blast every which way. That way in hopes that someone else doesn't get ripped off.

To Amerihood....Don't represent America in your company name when you rip off American people that wants to take care to their American cars with American money.
