Priorities have shifted from modding/racing lately to saving for Jessica's grad school & paying off my car. She may be starting in the Spring or Fall at the latest and we may have to move before long to where she chooses to attend. Although you can never have enough power, I'm satisfied with how my car sits so I decided to sell my new stroker motor about a month ago. Took me two years worth of tax returns to purchase! Figured I would offer it here first before palleting it up & shipping it in the normal for sale section. :rock:
Freshly built 426 (420 actual cubic inches) built for a forced induction application. 8.5:1 compression ratio with forged Manley internals, ARP mains, & Clevite 77 H bearings. Andy @ PWR can change the compression (pistons swapped) for ~$500 if you need just a naturally aspirated motor & don't want any boost on it or if you want to throw a lot of spray on it. It can be dropped off to him at PWR for locals or potential buyers who aren't local. Had planned on running it n/a till I could afford throw a built transmission & blower on it. :thumbs_u:
SOLD. Also have a camshaft (235/239 @.050 lift - 115lsa) or Manley Nextek springs I'll give the buyer a choice of to throw in with the motor too as a bonus! More accessories are available to install with it (water pump, oil pump, timing set, gaskets, bolts, windage tray/oil pan, Brad Penn break in oil, & 6.1 lifters) if the buyer is interested in any of those as well, or I'll sell them separately. A buddy of mine also travels the Southeast for work and may be able to deliver it to - Atlanta, GA; Birmingham, AL; Knoxville, TN; Jackson/Memphis, TN; Batesville, MS; Tupelo, MS; Florence, AL;, Asheville, NC; or the Bristol, TN/VA border area.
