No, and sorry for the confusion. I was trying to make a point about trusting calculators. They're handy, but not gospel. The calculator said I was making 800 HP, but I already know I wasn't. I was around 640 HP running 10.8's.

This is the specific dyno pull I was talking about. Using the SAE correction factor. What most people use to have a same frame of reference. It says 801 / 736.

This is the same pull without a correction factor. In reality I was making 641 / 589.

Big difference because up here I'm have about an 18% power loss just from altitude. Add in the weather and it's an even bigger loss.

Anyways I'd say you'd need to be around 640-650ish to run a 10.8 in Lakewood. Might even be quicker as you're lighter than me. If you were at 800 HP I'd suspect you'd be running 9's.

Hmmm... The calculator says 652. I'd have thought that would get you there. But I also figured you're lighter than 4600 lbs. Are you spinning or hooking solid? What does your 60' look like? Again, going by the calculators, looks like you're maybe 70 HP shy. Your call but a larger shot shot could get you there. Just not sure I'd go bigger on a stock bottom end. Getting away with something and being safe are different animals.

60fts are 1.5s car hooks... and that was just a 100 shot the 6.1s will take a 150 shot no problems... car is tuned also...and yes it weighs 4600 lbs im 260 lbs...lol believe me its never been on a dyno i really have no idea of HP i just think it moves pretty decent for what it is.. and if i can hit 10.8s i would be very happy for what i have invested into the car..

Damn! By all rights you should already be there. I figured you were gonna say 1.6-1.7 and spinning. If I run slower than a 1.5, I run a low 11, otherwise it's always a 10. Guess you'll have to up your shot, and pull some timing. I'm just scared of that stuff. Seen several have malfunctions, one staging right in front of me. Boom! About an inch or so of daylight between the hood and fender. But I see many others have no issues.

Nitrous is instant torque so it comes off the line hard then levels off so thats where i say i lost a little during the run..bottle looses pressure...plus i had flare between shifts on bigger shots so i just had a troy ding VB installed to help that out so i can up the shot...i think my goal is attainable..juts some fine tuning might even need a little weight reduction..IE front and rear seats out....i really do want to do that but a tenth is a tenth...LOL..
