alright i made the jump to a PWR forged 393 stroker for high, high boost. Making this thing damn near bullet proof with i beam rods, those nice manley 393 pistons, the arp hardware for the main caps and arp main bolts. i will add arp head studs when it arrives or send it to them depending on if they mount my heads. I also got the pwr pro street heads so i can run as close to 7k rpm as the tcm will allow. have not discussed cam yet but it will me very aggressive with decent lift set up for high boost 17-20+ lbs. also have a wet nitrous kit thanks to srt007 who keeps digging me deeper into engine power. will start off with a single 75 shot and possibly work my way up to 150 shot. will be adding a upgraded flywheel and would like to get a scatter shield for my tranny. should also be adding the ams 1000 to control when my boost kicks in to allow me a little better traction out of the whole. :stir::racing::rock::banana::beerchug::modding::beerchug::beerchug::banana::beerchug:

the 18 x 11's clear but i guess the 17 x 11 hits some bar i will have to get under and check but i take the weld wheels engineer's word for it. he said i could modify it and i will look into but he said it would be a lot easier to run the 17 x 10 as it is not going to change the size of the tire too much, however, if i want to do the mod every bit of width at my power he said is a plus.

Ok been very busy. Bought another nitrous kit today and also purchased a new set of lifters. i have to get the heads taken off and sent to my good buddy srt007 who got me started into the power adder game. get the cam and push rods out to torredcharger, short block and lifters to _george_, evilsrt8 has dibbs on the edge 4000 stall that i am taking out. just bought the ashtray nitrous switch from nitrous outlet. also have to get my rearend sent out also. will be adding the quaife rearend, kw suspension hopefully this week, will put on my protorque 4400 billet stator on the tranny when its out, when the 419 arrives i will be ready to throw on the new goodies to it and put it right in. then take it to the shop to get the new air to air intercooler put on "much larger" then have the ams1000 put on while it there and then get the tune knocked out. johan said he would get me tuned and i will have the shop just dial it in with afr's and test it out on the street with both pump and race fuel. not sure how high i will go on the nitrous but to run with the big boys im going to have to put up or shut up. glad this is coming together along with all the other badass builds going on.

ok i think I am finally done with parts. ordered a sequential light setup for my rear tail lights "bored" and a remote bottle opener for my nitrous bottle "do not want to waste that pretty button on the ashtray switch that says remote bottle opener." Getting weld wheels lined up and have a good deal on some m & h's. only thing stock on this car is the driveshaft which i do not plan on changing until it goes. Unless builder bill or dss want me to test out a rear end for them for a nice discount lol.

that was done when i upgraded the tranny, fuel system, and added the supercharger. would not run stock driveshaft without it or any driveshaft for that matter. nice looking out though great minds think alike.

well I lied I just bought the spark plugs I needed. Brisk 3 steps colder as per hemi-c's advice and what is working very well for him. Now I am just looking for the best deal on the weld wheels black 17x10's if anyone can get me a good deal im all ears.

Tranny is dropped, kw suspension is put in the rear with the quaife going in tomorrow as I just got axle seals today. Engine is all unhooked and ready to be pulled which we might do tomorrow aswell. PWR has let me know that my billet main caps are due in this week in which they can line hone the block and do final assembly and get her sent to me. I will put up some pics later.

Well I could not get the rearend put in as the axle seals did not fit they were way to small. Going to have to get ahold of Cam to see where the housing came from so I can get the right axle seals. Motor is all unhooked and ready to drop out the bottom. Now to just hook up the nitrous. Also got my arrington 90mm no2 throttle body in yesterday and man is that thing beautiful!!! Arrington does some nice work on those.

Motor is out!!! will post up some pics when i get home. my 255-45-20 nitto nt05 tires for the front came today which will go on my black srt8 wheels i got from buddoboy. ordered my weld wheels 17 x 10 which I will pick up 2nd week of march. my m&h 325-45-17 drag radials are also ordered and on their way.

Well thanks to Redfox I just added a super dana 44 rearend complete! this should hold up quite well and i will now be running slicks when I track this car instead of drag radials. I pick up my weld wheels monday! Andy informed me that my billet main caps came in and he has my block so he will be getting those done and then drop in my rotating assembly and ship out. rotating assembly is balanced and ready to install. getting close!

pulled the front end off to make it easier to pull the engine out with the engine hoist as i did not want to lift the front of the car up to clear the front bumper support. plus we had to strip off everything from the front as we are going with a different air to air intercooler. dropped the subframe since i thought it would be easier as i hate messing with the damn valve covers and i have to put the kw front suspension on.

17 x 10 weld racing wheels in the back with m&h drag radials 325-45-17. picked up some black srt8's for the front with nitto nt05 255-45-20 for the front. will probably add some weld wheels "skinnies" for the front.

pretty sure they dont make 17inch slicks. gonna have to stick to radials unless u get the wilwood rear drag brake kit and modify some suspensiion parts to get some 15inch or 16inch slicks on there. i just got my wilwood kit on there and did the suspension mods, just waiting to get the specs so i can order the right 15inch rim on there. im gong with welds also.
the 17inch drag radial should workout nicely on your setup. what model of weld did u go with?

sweeeet!!!! those are the ones im aiming to get!!! those things are niceeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!! never seen 17inch slicks before! good size too!
take a pic when u got them mounted up, so we can see how them bad boyzzzzz look!

i go pick them up from weld wheels on monday but can not mount them till i get rearend installed. hopefully redfox can get the ring and pinion installed and shipped out to me quickly.

did not get fronts yet because im not sure what size i want to get yet that would be good for both the street and track. I will probably get another set for the back and have two sets. one set with slicks for track use and the other set with drag radials for street use and use the fronts for both.

just checked hoosier tire catalog and those tires dont come up. they got road racing 17inch slicks but not with the measurements on that link u posted.

might wanna call hoosier and double check the info it could be a typo on summitracing. hopefully its not.
by the way that rear end setup is SICKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

with all these big builds have been bulit are currently being built its gonna be all out warrrrrrrrr lol!!!!!!!
man ive been running 22's for a long time now and traction sucksssss as*******! i got beat by a nasty grand national the other day by a car length and it was cause of the lack of traction . he was running some nasty rear tires and skinnies in the front. i would of had him if i would of had some good tires, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! and if the bottle was on with some tires it would of been crazyyyyyy!
i was soooo pissed i went home and installed my wilwood brake setup and did the suspesion mods needed and im waiting to get the specs i need to order my weldsss!!!!!!!! the pain doesnt let me sleep at night lol!!!!
