Carfax vs used rental Scat Pack - avoid?

I know Carfax isn't the most accurate system ever, but if it tells me that a 2015 scat pack challenger that I am interested in has:
    1) Been registered as a rental vehicle when new.
    2) sold at an auction 5 months later with 15,000 miles.
    3) Had work done at the dealership at 24,000 miles including:
    Engine/powertrain computer/module reprogrammed
    Oil pressure sender/switch replaced
    Transmission computer/module replaced
    Transmission computer/module reprogrammed

To me it would seem as though the drivetrain has seen some abuse and there may be underlying transmission problems now. All speculation at the moment, but wanted some advice before I make the drive a couple states away.
Would it be wise to pass on this one and keep searching?
My preference is a 2015 in sublime auto trans with HID's, NAV, and no sunroof, not many in my area that fit the bill so far

Rental car - most cases incur abuse. I would not suggest looking into it.

Was hoping you were closer to Pennsylvania. There is a 2015 scatpack automatic sublime gtreen color near where I'm at.

Thanks for the link, I've been watching that one for a few days wishing it was closer, it's exactly what I'm looking for too! I'm in Hawaii on business for a couple more weeks, if it is still around when I get back I'll have to get ahold of them and if I can't shake the scat pack bug, I might make a long weekend and take on the 9 hour drive down there..
    thanks for the link!!!

It's where i bought my 2016 plum crazy scat pack. I've bought 2 vehicles thru them. In case you haven't researched them yet they don't dicker on price. They usually price below kbb.

Also with the high performance vehicles like the scat pack they don't allow a test drive until your approved and waiting for your paper work to sign.

Of course if for some reason at that point your not happy they'll tear up the paperwork.

I really like the experience there. On normal vehicles you let them photo copy your license and pick which vehicle you want to test drive and they give you a dealer plate with keys and you go out on the lot find your vehicle and take it for a ride.

No salesman bugging you. It was a pretty painless experience.
