2011-19 Stage I 575HP (5.7L) Supercharger Tuner Kit Challenger (Patent Pending. Not For Sale or Use in CA.)

Anyone know about these? Their warranty seems good and the kit is inexpensive. I like the route of the intake vs how Procharger does it. Does anyone know how these actually do? 575HP seems great to me.

I just dyno'd my car at 339rwhp with only a high flow drop in air filter. That's a 10 percent only drivetrain loss. That means this kit could potentially be a one bolt on ticket to 500RWHP on my 2012 RT.
Thoughts on the kit itself?

Apparently they used to be Street Legal Performance ("SLP"). I wish someone on here had used this kit before. I am keenly interested in whether this kit is a good option. 575 HP is sweet!

I only lost 10% to drivetrain (assuming a 375 crank HP), and that was done on a Nascar dyno (which the techs said is usually a little conservative due to heavier weight rollers). I got my car dyno'd at 509 Dyno guys in Spokane, WA. If this kit does what it says, 500 RWHP would be possible on my car with this single bolt on. Anyone know someone who has used this kit?

I have personally never heard of this company before, butI can tell you that 8lbs of boost on a stock bottom end is a crap shoot.

Some people get lucky and the engine survives, the rest don't have pistons around 6lbs.

I myself, wouldn't trust it to stock pistons. That's 2 times the top end has to come off if you're on the unlucky side of things.

Ran a maggie 8lb's on my stock rt(heads and cam only) for 5 years of MSHS racingans and now and then a blow out down the open road. NO issues the RT held up better than some SRT's/
I also saw hamburger at a NSHS races. Looked pretty cool setup.
When i stepped up to the hellcat block the builder said my block looked perfect and asked to buy it.

Have they changed the person's from 06 to now? I know they had really thin ring lands in 06 making boost really destructive to a piston

#11 ·
Im not sure exactly but thought the ring lands was a 6.1/or 6.2 issue not a 5.7 issue.
doing 11.5/11.3 in an 09 RT with 8 lbs was never a problem for me.

Ed Hamburger has been around forever. Hamburgers oil pans, SLP, these are things he is responsible for.
SLP was all but an extension of GM (building SS/Firehawk models) in the late 90s/early 2000s, he knows this industry well.

That said, I haven't seen or experienced one of these blowers yet, but look forward to.

Thanks

I have this kit installed and it's amazing. I am putting down 550 RWHP and 610 torque.

Additional mods ported 6.1 intake manifold, ported heads, mbrp exhaust, kooks long tube headers and catted mod pipes, bbk 90mm throttle body, custom camshaft by Mac built cams.

I had to get new injectors (mine turned out to be bad) also upgraded the fuel system as well

I got this kit for only $5,500 (it's now over $7,000)

Worth what I paid for it at the price it's at now I might consider something else. But I am very happy with it. Still getting 23 mpgs on the highway.

the question i would have is that it states that not for sale or use in the USA. while magnuson superchargers are approved in every state.

good news. emission legal helps a lot in the "special" states:stir:.

In Brunswick County NC there is no emission checks any longer.:beerchug::pepper:

For now...

Keep in mind that's NASCAR territory, Simon. They actually just dropped emissions testing from SEVERAL counties.

Understood :^)

Except for Hellcat engines, all OEM pistons have very small upper ring land supports to meet emissions. Same danger exists from 05' to present...
