Where to fit stage 2 meth kit under hood on procharger 5.7?

I’m looking at the snow stage 2 meth kit reservoir and pump and at my cramped engine bay (procharger 5.7 2005 300c) and baffled about how to install reservoir and pump under hood.

Reservoir is supposed to be below nozzle (so below throttle body) and pump below that. That leaves me with nowhere I can find.

I dont want want to use the washer fluid for the meth. I like real windshield washing when needed.

I also think a trunk mount requires some extra addition so I’d like to do it in the engine compartment.

Where have people mounted their reservoir and pump who are procharger? I thought I heard someone in a thread I can no longer find say in front of radiator support?

photos extra appreciated if you have any.

thanks!

Might be worth having a reservoir made to fit in a free area.
Nozzle has to be above the res so it will not gravity drain.
I suggest using a bypass pump and run a solenoid near the nozzle. That will keep the pressure pulses down and give you a more consistent dosage. So you will turn pump on at x# psi then open solenoid a few psi above that.

Thanks, guys. I was trying to post photos of the engine compartment and the different areas but my computer or the forum was giving me issues.

I decided after checking to just go with a trunk mount snow kit which was way less than expected. 2.5 gallon tank, extra hose, and the upgraded solenoid straight from snow for $100 on amazon prime!

I'll update if I change directions and try to wedge it in or create space in the eng compartment

You realize that windshield washer fluid (the blue -40 stuff) is methanol and water right?

So, if you throw meth, and water into your reservoir there won't be a difference.

Also, I agree with the solenoid. And make sure your kit includes the check valve. Mine was missing it.

I mounted my pump and tank in the trunk, easy to get to and easy to fill without spilling. The pic does not have the tank installed but it goes to the right of the pump. I also modified my tank with a low level switch and a light on my A pillar. Its recommended to use the cutoff solenoid so you don't have any residual fluid puddling in your intake. On my build I removed all the wiper components except for the fluid tank. I plan on routing a line from there back to my meth tank and use it as an aux meth tank...when I get a low level light I just hit the washer sprayer and the tank should fill back up.

this pic shows the meth line coming up into my engine bay along with the solenoid.....yes this location will suck if I ever need to get to it.

my fuel lines I rerouted along the drivers side using custom clamps I had machined

this is an after shot of the engine bay...no room for anything and just enough for what I got.

Mine is located on the right side front fender splash, just behind stock washer tank.

pump is lower and bolted to the rad support.
I have drilled the filling cap and fit a 3/4 diameter rad hose and routed the hose beside fuse box to fill
the méthanol tank, .

been this way for 5 years and everything is hidden.
