I have ordered a Wipple supercharger kit for the SRT and expect to receive within 3 weeks. Anyways I'm not very comfortable running it with the 100K miles original fuel pump. Although it comes with an MSD pump booster, i think replacing to a new higher capacity/pressure is not a bad idea. Was looking at the Walbo 450 or 525 pumps and was wondering who sells these with the installation kit for this car including the hard wire kit. Another option is to use a 6.4 pump which looks like a direct replacement for the stock unit and is of higher flow.
You can get the pump from a2speed that they say is good up to 700hp. Easy to do all the others will be a fore set up. For makes a top that is NOT RETURNLESS but has some wireing to do.
The A2speed drop in is what I use on my nitrous car. It ups the flowing fuel pressure to 62psi and is supposedly good up to 700rwhp. It is a very easy install as it is not a return setup, two wires to connect and done. If you plan on being at or over the 700 hp mark, look into a return style setup. Then you are talking big money for a fuel system though.
I have a fore 3 pump return system. 3 255 pumps. 2 are on all the time and the 3rd is set up on boost. The only thing I did not care for is the short pig tail of wires. It would have allowed for a cleaner install with about 2 ft harness.
