    Description: Hello LX fam,

I have a set of Kooks Ceramic Coated Long Tube Headers 1 3/4" x 3" and 3" Hi Flo Cats that I purchased for my 2006 Charger R/T and never got to install. Headers will fit 5.7L 2005-2008 platforms. Mids will fit 5.7L 2005-2020 platforms. Unfortunately, had to get rid of my R/T recently. They are brand new! Will include OEM mopar gaskets, O2 sensors, and locking header bolts. Trying to open up some storage space and get these in the hands of someone that will be able to take advantage of them. Headers MSRP $1658
    Catted Mids MSRP $775

$1800 shipped for combo. Willing to sell separately. If bought separately, buyer will pay for shipping. Will entertain reasonable offers. Message with questions. Thanks

Everyone; unless you are considering mounting quality 1-3/4" long tube headers on a 7500+ rpm and / or big ci / healthy stroker, these might(!) not be appropriate units. More likely, the majority here are considering long tube headers for a bolt-on engine. In very simple terms, 1-3/4" ID is more than enough.

The question / goal should be "What will make the most HP / TQ for my particular application?" Bigger is not better in by-far the majority of applications we discuss here on a regular basis. So buy what your engine needs and avoid the ongoing misnotion that somehow "bigger is better".

The key takeaway should be that this is not rocket science. Online calculators, along with saged engine builders will confirm that when matched to ci (basically - an air pump) system, the gains far out-strip a larger mismatch (hint: larger ID pushes resonance higher into the rpm range).

To the OP; I'm continually being asked - what will offer thee most(!) gains. Folks should adhere to what the engine actually requires...so good luck with the sale :^)
