I am starting to look for another extra/winter car to replace rusted Grand Cherokee and have started eyeballing Chrysler 300m's with 3.5 V6. Read many mixed reviews most are negative. Anyone here have or had one? Any advise is appreciated, don't need a money pit but I do like their looks.

What exactly do you want to know?

Steering rack bushings, inner tie rod bushings are a PITA and known to wear out.

Cradle bushings and strut mounts as well

the 42LE is not a bad transmission but does prefer to be taken care of properly.

I've owned 3 of them, let them all go after high mileage 285k/275k/260k, never a lick of trouble with engine nor tranny. Dash cracked on 2 of them and 1 the heated seats stopped working on one side.
