What a fantastic day at the GTALx 2019 - Mopar social/charity event supporting Peel Childrens Aid Foundation. With about 225 cars in attendance, and through the generosity of the many organizations who donated prizes, coupled with the generosity of those who attended and purchased raffle tickets, the event raised a record $4770 for the PCAF. A thousand thanks goes to the staff of PCAF, along with the volunteers who volunteered their time today, and to all of the organizations who donated raffle prizes, allowing us to reach this monumental achievement! While the weather was questionable all week, even up until 6 a.m. this morning, the weather gods smiled upon us and allowed the event to happen it's in its entirety. Thanks to all the organizations involved in donating, to all the volunteers, and to everyone who attended the event. A link to a post-event survey will be available in the next couple of days. If you attended the event, please take the time to fill out and submit the survey. Good or bad, your feedback will be used to make the event better. Thanks again to all, it was a great day![emoji111]
Another overwhelming accomplishment, yet again, Bryan. Many thanks to you, and as stated all the volunteers and prize contributors who were responsible for this event being so fantastic!!
Don't know how you could ever make this event bigger or better, but I'm sure you are working on that plan already!!
Hello everyone. What a fantastic day it turned out to be!
Just a final update and a request for feedback if you attended (as an exhibitor or car owner) the GTALx 2019 - Mopar social/charity event supporting PCAS sponsored by Authentic Performance The show was a huge success with approximately 226 cars attending (based on 24 out of 250 goody bags remaining) and the attendees raising an astounding $4770 for the folks at Peel Children's Aid Foundation (PCAF)! Mother Nature must have a soft spot for the event because she held the rain off and gave us warm weather and sunshine for the day! We had great sampling of members from a number of the south western Ontario Mopar oriented social media enthusiast groups and hope to see more members from each group attend next year. We also had people travel from as far as Indiana and Montreal to attend the event. Thank you for coming so far! We also had TV coverage from a local south Asian news network, (ZeeTV I think) and the broadcast is supposed to happen on Monday sometime. Not sure how they got wind of the event but was honored that they sent someone to cover the event. I am trying to acquire additional details and will post soonest. On behalf of myself, and the folks at PCAF, I'd like to thank the organizations listed below, the volunteers who helped manage the chaos, and also a heartfelt thanks to all of the attendees for a fabulous day!
