Please let us know if you're planning to attend by completing the 5 question form here - http://www.gtalx.ca/sign-up-form.html
We just want to make sure that we have enough food, refreshments and ice cream for everyone. Also, for those coming out of town and who might require hotel accommodations, completing the form will help us arrange for accommodation discounts at 1 or more local hotels.

Only 39 days to go and the prizes are still coming in. We have over $6500 in donated raffle prizes!!
IMPORTANT - remember that if you require accommodation, your room(s) MUST BE booked by April 26[SUP]th[/SUP] - that's next Wednesday. The hotel is the Courtyard Marriot Brampton and the rate of CAD$109/night has been secured. Please reference code 'GTA' at time of registration.
Please also remember to register to attend the event if you haven't done so already. By registering, you'll have a chance to win a an official Mopar SRT thermal cup, an official MOPAR magnetic note pad, and a bottle of Mothers Leather Conditioner - all just for registering! With only 25 days to go, we've got over 120 cars registered to attend, and close to $7000 in donated prizes! The event website, www.gtalx.ca has the updated prize list as well as the sign-up link. Remember that signing up on its own will enter you to win a prize consisting of a Mopar magnetic notepad and an SRT thermal travel mug! Remember that this meet is for owners of BOTH modern AND classic Mopars as well as all models. It should be the largest gathering in the GTA specifically for owners of ALL Mopar vehicles and an opportunity to raise some money for a well deserved charity! It will be a rain or shine event with covered shelter there if the weather doesn't cooperate. See you on the 27th!!

Folks, we had a hiccup very early in setting up the registration form and looks like some of the very first/early registrations were lost - you can check for your name here - form - and if your name doesn't appear, please re register. Registration enters you into the draw for a small prize bundle (see post #33) and serves to give an idea of numbers to the food service provider.

Please don't register more than once - any duplicates have been stripped out.
You can use the search function to check if you are registered already.

16 days - pray for good weather!!!

www.gtalx.ca - Well folks, with 3 days to go, the weather looks like it's going to be in our favour. This will be the last announcement prior to the event so please remember the following.

1 - this is most important! - please respect the park property. The park has donated one of the 4 sites for this year's event so please respect the gesture.

2 - BBQ food service and ice cream truck will only accept cash but raffle tickets sales will accept debit/credit - bring cash just in case of technology failure. Ticket pricing is same as last year - $5 for 3 tickets, $10 for $10 tickets and $20 for an arm's length of tickets. ALL funds raised through ticket sales are donated to Peel Children's Aid Society. We hope to surpass last year's total of $2080 raised.

3 - Name of the sites is Lakemount sites 1, 2, 3 and 4 - follow the signs once you're through the gate.

4 - Bring sunscreen, tents, lawn chairs to relax and enjoy the day. This year we'll have a great mix of Mopar vehicles attending and some new vendors who support the event and community, and who offer some great products.

See you Saturday!

A Gazillion cars this year...Awesome Mopars !

Pics anyone ?
It was a sea of 392 Chargers!

I took a decent amount of pics but I'm sick of Photobucket and their POS website so I'll have to upload them manually and post links. Gimme some time to get some coffee into me first.

A huge, huge thanks to everyone that attended the GTALX 2017 meet yesterday. We had about 180 classic and modern Mopars and if you purchased raffle tickets, you helped in raising over $3100 for Peel Children's Aid. Also thanks for your patience as we wrestled with the parking challenges due to the grass space not being available. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. I'll be sending out a link to a post event survey in the next few days. If you attended, would be appreciative if you could provide feedback so we can make next year's event better. Thanks again!

On behalf of Authentic Performance and the team from Peel Children's Aid Foundation and the GTALx 2017 volunteers, I'd like to thank all of the people who attended GTALx 2017. It was a great show 'n shine/social event/fundraiser! This year, we had 180 cars and people not only from as far as Michigan and Quebec, but we also had visitors from Indiana! We hope you all will come back for next year's event. To all the organizations who donated raffle prizes, we can't thank you enough. Your generosity, coupled with the generosity of those who purchased raffle tickets, allowed us to raise over $3100 to assist children and families in need. We also had a great showing of many different Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth/Jeep models, both classic and modern and thanks to all owners who took the time to shine up their rides. Pride of ownership is definitely evident at this event!
We'd like to thank the following organizations for their time and generosity.
Billet Technology, Rock auto, Longman's Woodbine Chrysler, Brampton Chrysler Dodge Jeep Fiat, Unifor 1285, Overkill Motorsport, Solo Performance Inc., Legmaker Intakes, LLC, Design Cutz, Z Automotive Technologies, Innovative Hydrographics, ReBadge Design & Graphics, LLC, Gregg Mc Pherson of Brushgroove, Mothers Polish, Paul Georges from Team Hellcat, Adam Fox of Esri Canada, FW1, Karen Doerrie from Nutanix Canada, Kaption Car & Home Audio, Auto-Links, Lockdown Security Canada, Detail Central Auto Spa Inc, The Suspension Source, Mach 1 Auto Detailing, Karbelt Speed & Custom Pickering, Turf N Dirt, BlackCatCustom.com, Heart Lake Conservation Area, Don R Brown, PJs Auto Spa, MicksPics Sport Photography Plus, Prostate Cancer Canada Network Brampton, Peel Regional Police and Brampton Fire and Emergency Services, Al Roberts for the gtalx.ca event domain, The Brampton Guardian for the media exposure and Fire It Up BBQ Catering and Donkey Kone for the great food and ice cream!
We will look forward to seeing everyone again next year! Have a great summer!

Congratulations on another wonderful event!

Greetings from the Atlantic Ocean

Wheel Tire Cloud Land vehicle Sky

Out of all of the events that I attended in my 4 years as an LX owner while I lived in SW Ontario, this is the one I most regret no longer being able to attend. I still vicariously attend through the posts here on LXForums and the Facebook page, and through the Facebook pages of the many friends I have been fortunate to make directly through my ownership of Blue.

Congratulations on this year's event -- it's becoming a more and more impressive show, and I look forward to attending in person again within the next fews years as it grows larger and larger.
