By now you've all seen the all new 2019 Ram 1500. This truck makes the new Chevy Silverado look dated in both looks and in technology. This new Ram is light, stronger, more powerful, more fuel efficient and smarter and better looking. I love this new truck. now talk to me when they release pricing but, for now, let a guy dream after all.

Interesting video from FCA engineers who designed the exterior of the new truck.

It does look really good. I am a big fan of the direction Ford went with their trucks a few years ago, and it seems to be paying dividends compared to Dodge and Chevy's contemporary offerings. This should bring in more discerning customers to Dodge outside of their die-hard base of users.

One thing that I always come back to, though, when a car company truely goes "No-Compromise" the price also usually follows with it. I'm sure they aren't being totally literal, but there are a lot of good vehicles out there that were just too overbuilt and customers weren't willing to pay a premium for a better product than the lower priced competition.

We'll see what happens, but its definitely a good looking vehicle, with what looks to be a decade jump in engineering and tech compared to the outgoing model.

They Hit it out of the Park in 2013 and leaped frog-ed the Competition...I remember every one saying an 8 speed transmission was over kill and 4 coroner suspension with auto leveling load with coil springs would be a disaster and why would 395 HP V8 be needed. No issues with a 2014 Laramie I bought. Nice truck. Now it seems the others have 8 and 10 speed transmissions with magnetic suspensions. The 19 looks like its going to be another hit out of the park! In regards to pricing, the number 3 truck maker Ram had killer pricing discounts over the Competition with Ford not having any rebates until last couple years. I hope Ram has the lower price again so it can try to move up to number 2 position and provide more savings for us while its on the move! Just my two cents!

This is a really ugly truck. I bet it would look sweet if they didn't drive the front of it through a chrome wall before it leaves the factory... I mean seriously though, why does it need the chrome around the headlights? It already has the LED running lights, don't need dated chrome there as well. I know they'll have several versions without the chrome but I really wish they would get the memo. The Chrome grille I had on my 2013 Charger RT is the most chrome I ever want to see on a vehicle.

I’d been wanting a truck for a little while, and as soon as I saw/researched the new changes for the 19s I rushed out and started shopping for leftover 17s and 18s.

Maybe the redesign will eventually grow on me, but I feel like as far as adding technology to vehicles goes, I think we may have jumped the shark already.
