    The BatWagon is dead!

Hey guys! As some of you may know our 5.7's have valves that are not pinned and can drop causing mass damage. I say this because IT HAPPEN TO ME YESTERDAY. Pulled the plugs and the plugs for cylinder 2 & 5 have no gap. Meaning the ground electrode and the center electrode are SMASHED TOGETHER! Yikes, put a scope down and the one piston is cracked and the other has a hole in the top the size of a dime. Walls look rough too. So...looking for a new engine. Any leads?! not looking for a crazy upgrade just a simply replacement while I build a crazy replacement on the side. Cheers!

Sorry to hear this! Wife's old 06 R/T got 267,000 miles before dropped cylinder #3 valve seat. I put a reman engine in and she bought a new ('16) Scat Charger and we sold her old one.

Good luck on your next build

173,000 long time with no issues. Even the belt is original and still no cracks.

Thanks Mile! I hope I find one soon too. For now I've got my Honda running strong at 256000.
