It's more or less so I don't have to pay a $500 deductible. As I've said before, it comes off with the twist of a few bolts. I can't see a better way of protecting it, and besides, I like the way it looks on or off

You realize if you did hit something the push bar will be completely bent right? And most likely bent into your fascia, damaging it.

They aren’t meant as a fail safe front end protector. I hit a deer once. Still did damage to my fascia and bumper, fender, grill, etc.

I know firsthand. Retired LEO.

He is. In the past couple of years, my wife was killed in a car wreck (not her 300, traded it for a T&C minivan-biggest mistake I've ever made. My 2 babies survived), Ratman's getting DVrcd, I live in San Antonio and he lives about 25 miles into TX hill country (about 40 min from me). He owns a RAM 1500 5.7 HEMI. I currently don't own an LX, but am always on the lookout for a really good Magnum example to possibly get. I'm just on here reading through this entire thread, getting some much-needed laughs, and reminiscing about days gone by. Good Times.
