I was planning on installing a Hellcat motor from a wrecked Charger into my ScatPack Charger. Has this been done before? What will I all need from the wreck to get this in my car?
To my knowledge this is possible, but will require a lot of work..... If at all possible, try to buy the wrecked car. This will save you a lot of time and money piecing this thing together. I know for certain, you will need the dash, the ECU/PCM, the TCM, and all of the associated coolers along with the engine. If I'm not mistaken the transmissions should be the same as well as the differentials. But honestly you would do yourself well to just take the entire driveline and all associated parts from the wreck if you can get the entire car.
you would for sure come out cheaper forging your 392 and boosting it.
