Just wanted to share my club for anyone in Iowa, who has lived in Iowa, or lives around Iowa in the bordering states. We are a club that was founded in May of 2014. We have already grown to 400 members. Most of us are focused in the Central Iowa area, but we have members all over the state. Our club is totally free. We do not charge dues. All we ask is that you bring your Modern Mopar, and your passion for all things with four wheels. We're a very open, family friendly club. We require Iowa residency, former Iowa residency, or residency right across the border of a bordering state for membership. The only other requirement of course is that you own a 1990 or Newer Modern Mopar vehicle that is Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Plymouth, RAM, or SRT in make. It doesn't matter if you have a lifted Jeep, or a Challenger Hellcat, we welcome just about everyone.

The great thing about our club is that it's laid back, and we don't require our members to show up for anything. Our club is what we make it, not something we try to force it to be. We are very active in attending shows, meets, and other events throughout the state. We have members that drag race on the weekends at Eddyville, we have members that just like to get together and cruise, we have members that like to go to club meets at the drive in theatre in Newton, and so on, and so forth. There's a little bit of everything for everyone depending on your personal tastes. There's usually someone trying to put together some kind of impromptu meet if there's a weekend when the club doesn't have something more official going on. The club page in particular is also a great place to converse with your fellow members. We have members from all different walks of life. We have members who work for local dealerships, a member who owns one, members who are certified Dodge techs, and ASE Certified mechanics, etc... There's a lot of technical expertise, and knowledge in our group if you ever have a question or need some help with your own Mopar. We've also been known to hold a tech workshop or two where members get together to mod their cars, or get help modding their cars.

If you are interested in joining up please request to join our Facebook group at www.facebook.com/groups/mmoia

A few things to note:

-If you join, you are agreeing to the club bylaws which are readily available for viewing. Chief rule of all of our rules first and foremost is no bashing other members or their rides. The other thing we don't tolerate is drama. Drama likes to to make it's way into car clubs, people who want things their way, or people who can't act their own age and act like responsible adults. Drama is not welcome in our club. Anyone who creates it is given the boot. I like to make that clear to all new members so it's not some big surprise down the road. Case in point is a member of club leadership was removed from the club. The rules are in place for everyone, not just regular members.

- Club leadership is comprised of a President (Myself), Vice President, Co-Vice President, Tech Officer, and 3 Member Relations Officers. Leadership is specifically designed to help club members out as much as possible. We're responsible for brainstorming events, helping put events together, keeping order when necessary, and helping members out whenever necessary. Leadership = Responsibility, not necessarily authority, and definitely not power over anyone.

- We have vendors that work with us and offer discounts to club members on parts and memorabilia.

- We offer club decals at $5.00 each, $6.00 to be shipped. We also do T-Shirt orders as needed, and club hats are readily available to be embroidered at Hattz Embroidery in Merle Hay Mall in Des Moines.
