hey all,

i did some searching on this and wasnt really able to find anyone with a 15+ that has swapped rear subframe bushings to pedders or whiteline ones. hoping someone here has some experience/knowledge with it. just trying to decide if it would be worth doing.

im going to be swapping sway bars so ill be 3/4 of the way there already it would be the only time id consider doing the job because i know its a PITA! doing a pretty comprehensive suspension upgrade and ive heard from the older gens that swapping these really helps with control for both putting down power and under braking as well as wheel hop but havent seen anyone with a 15+ so looking for input!

thanks!

There should really be an existing / repeatable problem that might(!) be altered when considering R&Ring the cradle bushings. As long as there is no wheel spin that might induce wheel hop, changing the rear cradle bushings is not going to do much of anything. Also, they by no means are the panacea for wheel hop cause there's too many points of flexure across the suspension system / tire assemblies combined that can induce wheel hop. Given no two platforms are identical, especially when modified, what is claimed to work for one platform is no guarantee it will work for others.

Justifying the amount(!) of work / toil involved to R&R the cradle bushings would be appropriate after exhausting all other options - but only(!) if there was / is an actually a well-defined problem in the first place.

On a road course at (literally) ten / tenths they might offer a more defined level of tuning to help keep all four wheels planted at the limits of (lateral) adhesion. Conversely; expecting some sort of gains on a street machine is way more speculation than fact...

I went with the entire BMR system on my '16 SRT including the cradle brace and thicker sway bars. Worth every penny!
