Is Auto-Start an Option or Is It Standard Equipment

My sister-in-law bought a base Chrysler 300 Touring and her car did not have auto-start. I thought auto-start was included in all LX models as standard equipment.
If it is not standard on all models of LX's, which ones don't include auto-start? And what packages are required to have auto-start?

Yes.

Don't know what year or model but remote start is optional on lower trims.

It looks like you need the "Driver Convenience Group" to get the remote start

And sorta on topic....is 2019 the last year for the 300 here?

I'm just now getting my wife a 2019 Charger GT Plus, but it doesn't have the Driver Convenience Group. I haven't seen the car yet. So, I'm expecting to have to have remote start installed later. Who can I see for that?
(My wife has a 2017 T/A that I ordered for her, but I added Driver Convenience Group.)

It'll cost a little more, but the dealer can install that. Then you'll have a warranty and only 1 key fob to tote around lol.

Your original question was about a base 300.

In regards to the '19 GT Plus, for your wife....it WILL have the remote start from the factory! It's standard on the GT

I bought the 2019 Octane Red Charger GT Plus with the Brass Monkey Package on Friday. As snobrdrdan stated the remote start was included.

I started the thread because my wife's sister has just purchased a 2019 Chrysler 300 Touring. It was the base model with no package options. She got lost in the "whole new car purchase experience" thinking since her 2015 Charger SXT Plus had remote start, so would her Chrysler 300. But that was not the case.
