    04 Ram 1500 4x4 quad 5.7 Hemi

I am at my wit's end, the seat belt chime won't stop dinging. I have done everything short of taking the dash apart and cutting the bloody thing out. Is their a plug under the drivers seat that I can unplug to stop it? Anybody, please help.

Are you sure it’s the driver side causing the chime? I don’t know if that year has a passenger seatbelt chime or not. Did you bypass the buckle circuit?

Seat belt chime is as follows:

    1. Get in vehicle and close door.
    2. Buckle up.
    3. Turn key on
    4. within 30 seconds(?) unbuckle and buckle three times within 10 seconds - the third buckle up leaving it buckled...
    5. Turn key off, just 1 chime should be heard now when not driving safe.

note: when turning off the key a single chime should be heard meaning job well done! You fixed it again...

This does not disable the seatbelt light but does disable the chime

    I’m sure you tried this?

I've tried buckling, unbuckling, fuse out, cleaning the buckles and every other youtube trick online. Now it's getting physical. I'm at the stage of dash removal and wire cutting. What is a 'bypass buckle circuit'? Thanks
