I have an 07 chrysler 300c that needs better brakes. I run it at the drag strip and i need more stopping power without breaking the bank. I already use the ceramic pads and have slotted rotars on the front. I also put in braided lines in the front.
Another cheap upgrade is the rear police rotors from an 06 and up Charger. They use the same calipers but the caliper bracket is taller to allow the larger rear rotors. You will go from 12.6" rear rotors to 13.8" rotors. Bigger rotor means better stopping power as your "lever" has increased from 12.6 to 13.8.
