U1403 Implausible Fuel Level Code HELP

    U1403 - Implausible Fuel Level

I recently purchased an 05 Magnum. It had about 7-8 codes on it when I got it, but now I have it down to just this one code left. I have to get this car inspected soon and the MIL has to be out before it will pass.

From what I gather from the 05 Service Manual, the instrument cluster sends a fuel level signal to the FCM via Can B BUS, then the signal is sent to the PCM via Can C BUS. I have checked the wires from the cluster to FCM, and FCM to PCM and they both connect just fine. I still cannot get the MIL to go out.

The service manual says this is a PCM problem, but I am afraid to take it to the dealership because the car has a B&G tuned PCM. Could the problem be with the B&G tune? Would they be able to fix this, or am I going to have to take it to the dealer?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

this code will set whenever the PCM loses communication with the cluster.
if you have the original PCM, i'd try that first.

I don't have the original PCM (I don't even know if the one in there is the original with the B&G tune, or if it is a different PCM with the B&G tune). I checked to make sure there is current going from the cluster to the FCM (white & white/orange wires), and current running from the FCM to the PCM (white/blue & white/green wires). Do you think it would be something internal in the PCM?

Pulling fuse 11 for a bit doesn't clear it?

No, after pulling the fuse many times the code will still show right when I start the car.
