I recently had the oil pressure switch replaced and code cleared. MDS was working again.
Yesterday noticed the MDS was not on (via dashhawk), then I noticed the temp gauge was in the low/cold mark.
Next time I started the car all was fine.
Temp on the dashhawk was fine around 203.

Cool! I have DashHawks on all 3 of my Hemi's......wish they still made them. Your MDS won't become active (among other things) until the engine temperature reaches at least about 105-115*F. If your temp. sending unit is either sending bogus or no info. to the PCM, the MDS will not work. If it persists, it's probably time to replace the temp. sending unit too.
Dashhawk was showing temp but the dash was “off” as in the needle was in the position when the engine is not running.
Turn off the engine and start again and then the gauge cluster was showing the temp.
