    getrag swap

looking to do a getrag swap in my 2006 300 srt8 with a used differential. I had been searching using the challenger srt8 2010, but have found more 2011-2014 challenger srt8 carriers. Are they the same? Are the srt challenger rears all lsd whether it is a 3.06, 3.73 or 3.92? if I get the 11-14 do I just need the axles, hubs etc for those years?

Thanks, That's what I thought but some adds were saying 2011-2014 only. I might have an awesome deal on a set of 3.92's or 3.73's

I’m not positive but since the manual driveshaft would be from a challenger, it is probably shorter than what you need for your car.
Perhaps someone else can say this definitively?

In the process my self on our 07 Daytona.

68090505AA - Getrag coupler (1) (comes with 3 bolt set)
    68052356AA - Pink bolts 3 per set (2) (added insurance here...but that's your call)
    6509429AA - Pink nuts (6)
    6506263AA - Axle nut (2)
    4578732AE - Right axle assembly (1)
    4578733AE - Left axle assembly (1)

    If needed:
    6509315AA - Mounting bolt (1)
    4578085AA - Pinion upper bushing (1)
    4578191AA - Pinion lower bushing (1)

Think that's really it...assuming you have the driveshaft with a 3 bolt (not 4) configuration.

...forgot hubs. I just grabbed a set of Timken's from Rock for those, and EastCoastMoparts was the rest of my order and two of the gentlemen from this forum are supplying the diff and axles.

Thanks fellas! Hate to say it but after pricing everything out and being near $2600, I think i'm going to go back to my cam idea and just install it myself since the labor on that was the deal killer

I searched high and low and found the 3.92 diff used 60K out of a mopar 12' 300S for $235. The hubs I got from Detroit axle, and the misc. bolts/fluid/etc. from eastcoastmopar. I also saved $150 by not having to buy the 392 coupler as the 3.92 Getrag came with one.
The axles I broke even on selling my spare set. Driveshaft out of an 05 300c 5.7. I've been hoarding parts since November. Brought used parts so it helped alot. My hold up was finding a shop to install for a reasonable price.

I would if I had access to a lift. By myself, In Georgia humidity, on a concrete garage floor, with 12 inches of clearance on jack stands :/

Concrete floor with as much clearance the jackstands (mine ratchet up) could give me after lifting it up by the diff as high as it can go with a floor jack lol
