No sir, no controls. Fully loaded, sunroof, power everything, leather. Just the cheap radio and no evic.

[QUOTE=RobsSXT;5091792]Yes. I did not need a steering column module (clockspring). And if you don’t have EVIC on your cause, the controls can still cycle through the limited menu non EVIC.

Keep everything as close to your cars year as possible.

Thanks, this sounds interesting i just dont want to have to start chasing down too many parts.
Is there a way to determine if the proper clockspring is already there.?
    Or homelink?
And why would the cluster need changed its already a 160 mph? is the evic a different design? I wouldn't think they would want to manufacture 4 different clusters 2 for v6 and 2 for 5.7.
    (evic and non-evic).

Sorry for all the questions but you did make it work so I figure you have the answers.
    Thanks.

And yes the key programing would be great.

That sounds like something we could all use. Keep us posted k?

Clockspring is fine. I've read where Challenger guys trying to do this ran into Steering Control Module (SCM) differences. As for me, and my 05, I didn't need to change anything.

Homelink is the garage door opener above your rear view mirror. I got mine from my local auto wreckers for $25. Make sure you have the harness. The harness goes down the passenger A pillar to a connection in your wiring harness. Plug and play. This also has the compass that you will see in your display.

    • 140 speedo is the SXT. No EVIC option that I'm aware of.
    • 160 is the RT. It has the full EVIC that I enabled. Some RT's didn't come with EVIC, just with the basic display under the speedometer.
    • 180 is the SRT gauges, they all have EVIC.

Then there the ones for the Canadian/ overseas market in metric. So now thats 8 different clusters.

Will this also read Airbag codes?

How about calibrate sunroof or HVAC?

Yeah it does airbag codes thank goodness. I have a persistent code. HVAC- you can troubleshoot the entire thing because you can trigger every actuator individually in the system. No sunroof functions.

In terms of a stand alone code reader, it’s the best I’ve ever bought.

I read through the website and this thread and saw mentions of being able cycle individual actuators. Does anyone know if this software will let you cycle the ABS module for bleeding the brakes?

Would I be better off getting a USB based interface or BT?

My Windows laptop is somewhat older Dell Latitude E4310 i5 with SSD drive running Windows 10.
I know it does not have BT 4.0

Lastly there is no trial mode of any kind, right? Limited features or 1x use or time limited...

I have BT ones but I just wanted a good reliable connection. Probably works fine on your PC.

RobsSXT, are you able to check and see if you can see the PID's in the software when you hit the steering wheel buttons? I've not heard back from them yet. I'm looking for the actual codes so I can have an arduino sniffing the CANBUS looking for them, but I have to have the actual PID's. I can get them with the Ardiuno but its a tedious process to filter through all the other traffic.

    thanks
