I hear the "bing/chime" attention-getter sound. And the car reports: Check TPM system. That's the first I've ever seen this. So what does it really mean?
All 4 sensors are reporting tire pressures. Does this mean that the TPM system thingy needs to be re-calibrated or replaced? Where is this TPM brain located?
It would indicate spare low or spare tire psi low, that's what my Hemi commander says, I do not think the conventional spares in the LX/LC chassis have a tpms in the spare? I could be wrong as my SRT8 does not have a conventional spare, just a convenient foam sorting tray for all my drugs......LOL
Mine does this. I found both of the front receivers unplugged. One has a broken connector, so I left them unplugged. I still get all the tire readings though.
Mine was doing the same thing and I thought it was bad TPMS sensors but my other symptom was my key fob's weren't working all that well. Turns out it was the WCM - Wireless Control Module.
I replaced all the ABS wheel sensors a couple months ago. And both FOBS are working correctly.
