That all depends what you need your car for. If you are happy with the Magnum Style and ride and the room....stick with the Magnum RT. If you feel like a change in style....then the Charger may be for you. Tough decision....good luck!
Hey guys, I have a problem deciding on what to do, I have a Magnum SE, my wife and I are trading her in for either a Magnum RT of the Charger RT with ROAD and Track. Thoughts on which to go for we are torn between the two. which one magnum or chager

Depends on what you want to haul... If you haul stuff and want to haul a** at the same time - then the Magnum is your best value, and you are already used to the sightlines and visibility, etc. If you haven't hauled that much stuff, and still want to to the arse... then the Charger will be the ticket for you. Will change your perspective of beasty driving pleasure and your view of the world while doing it.
Still in love with my first wife, and first car ('68 Charger)... Still have the wife!

I also have a 98 f-150 with a 10 inch lift that I do my hualing with, my wife likes the mag a little more, I love the seats in the charger though.
Damn, those are some nice seats... If I had the choice again I'd go with the charger just for that reason!Originally Posted by halo2

I had the same dilema yesterday when I traded my SXT for an RT. I had a Charger picked out, but I love the versatility of the Magnum. Some people downgrade it as a sporty car, to me it is no different then having an SUV.
Good luck you will be happy either way.
We really love the Magnum SRT8, and to us there really wasnt a decision between the Charger or the Magnum. For us it was the 300 SRT8 or the Magnum. I wanted the 300, wife wanted the Magnum. Since we do a good bit of traveling, the Magnum makes a lot of sense.

It's easy. Sounds like your wife wants the Magnum. Her car, her choice.

wait for the challenger hhaahah
The Vehicle Formally Known as JamminWagon
It's a really personal choice, but I give the edge to the Magnum for the combination of performance and utility.
Good luck!
Maybe it's just me, (I'm 6'5") but the Charger didn't seem as roomy in the back seat as the Magnum. I'm not sure, but it seems the Charger's back seat is further forward. Also the headroom in back is not as good.
I also don't think dogs work well in the trunk of a Charger:grin: .
I do love the looks of the Charger though, very nice.
These things were important to me, but very likely not to most people.
FWIW.
My choice would be the Magnum. But the Charger ranks a close second. Tough choice.
