I started the day with some tire abuse on the way to work  :racing:

Followed that up with a wash, wax and a full detail. Emptied the catch can.

Your turn, What did you do.....?

Got my "Reman" PCM installed. Came from flagship1 obviously not a remanned part, still had like dust and dirt on the connectors and they literally just spray painted the case silver, over the dirt. Lol however, the car fired right up, and runs 100000x better than it ever has. I also replaced that Dynamic sensor, and I now have ZERO lights on the dash. I'm extremely pleased and no longer feel like lighting the car on fire. Drives the way the stock one I test drove did. Just fine. And very predictable. No stalling, no idle hunting, no stupid rich stinky idle that burns your eyes like a nitro drag car. No drama.

Now I do believe the 'surging'I felt was indeed torque converter shudder. I still have 3gal of valvoline synthetic atf+4 and a filter to install, and royal purple for the oil change, and 4x new NTK o2 sensors to put in.

But for now I am just enjoying driving it around.

Thanks!

I'm really sad you sold your 300. Yours was one of the cleanest ones around!

With 15 LXs in our stable now; started some PMs today. Some have just sit too long. Realized today I was due an oil change on one of my 300 SRTs. Next nice day I'll get that done and start on more PMs on all that I can. Geesh; 15 of them takes me awhile. LOL

Ah Ha, at last the sun came out and got the oil changed on my 300 SRT.

A new subtle touch. I snagged a set of chrome door handles, and then applied a color-matched satin pearl white strip of vinyl to the middle of the handle. I actually got my inspiration for this from the door handles on the 2nd gen Chevrolet Volt.

Awesome, glad you got them. I'm interested to see how you will fit them in the bumper.

It's time.

Nothing quite like getting the occasional random backfire out the cutouts below your feet on the commute every day. Startles the **** out of me lol. Got about 50k on the current ones so it's well past due.

After multiple tries to get a Bluetooth solution to work consistently, and the desire for a backup cam now that I have a toddler, I installed a pioneer 8200nex. I have one 8200 and a 7200 in my other cars and have been enjoying the car play experience so decided to install one in the MSRT as well. Also installed the carplay2air dongle for wirelessness. So far everything is working great and install was super straightforward for all components. Loving the maestro features as well.

The pink thingy - park lock out mechanism - finally broke on my 2006 300c SRT8.

This "project" has been so long in the making I had to lookup when I bought this... I got the Billet Technology aluminum replacement part in 2012, so I have been driving around with it in my center console for 8 years! Luckily it broke in my garage and replacement wasn't a huge hassle, and my procrastination didn't make too much trouble for me.

There was a recall from Chrysler on that. Mine broke around 2010 and I put the Billet one in. A few years later I received the recall notice - i told Chrysler that I had replaced it and so they sent me the 30 bucks or so to cover the BT part. A couple years ago I was in for air bag recall and the dealer still showed recall for the pink thingy, but i declined as the BT was doing fine.

Lucky that it broke in your garage. When I bought my 06 SRT it had 164K on it and I didn't know the status, so that was one of the first things I did. A little peace of mind (and insurance) goes a long way, IMO.

I am expecting mine to break too, but I won't spend money to fix it. I don't know where I saw it, but after it broke, someone simply drilled a small hole through the arm where that little eyelet for the spring goes, and inserted a cotterpin. The head of the cotterpin is where the spring will attach and then just bend the legs of the pin around to hold it in place. That's my plan. I will buy a spare one from the junkyard and mod it in this way to have ready for when mine does let go.

I’m surprised you waited this long. When I bought my 07 with 30k mikes the first week I had that part ordered, I already knew prior from an old buddy that owned a Charger and didn’t want the damn thing breaking while I was in a drive thru or something.
