these are for '06 magnum but should be the same for all LXs '07 & older.

Power Distribution Centers

Front Power Distribution Center Fuses

A power distribution center is located in the engine compartment. This center contains fuses and relays.

CAUTION:
  • When installing the Power Distribution Center cover, it is important to ensure the cover is properly positioned and fully latched. Failure to do so may allow water to get into the Power Distribution Center, and possibly result in a electrical system failure.
  • When replacing a blown fuse, it is important to use only a fuse having the correct amperage rating. The use of a fuse with a rating other than indicated may result in a dangerous electrical system overload. If a properly rated fuse continues to blow, it indicates a problem in the circuit that must be corrected.

Ok,

I installed my amp and speakers a few days ago and I want the amp to come on when the radio is turned on and for it to go off when the radio is off. Right now the amp turns on and is always on with the car in ACC or ON, regardless of the radio being on. Could I tap Fuse 36/ 20 Amp Yellow/ Radio/Navigation with the remote wire to make it so that the amp only turns on when the radio is on?

For anyone interested, here's the total quanitity of fuses broken down by type:
  • 05 Amp Orange - 5
  • 10 Amp Red - 8
  • 15 Amp Dk. Blue - 7
  • 20 Amp Lt. Blue - 3
  • 20 Amp Yellow - 13
  • 25 Amp C - 2
  • 25 Amp Clear - 2
  • 30 Amp C - 1
  • 30 Amp Pink - 7
  • 40 Amp Green - 3
  • 50 Amp Red - 3

R/F window switch is fed from driver's switch. if it was a main power feed problem, no windows would work. not clear on the window lock part of your question. the only window lock switch is on driver's side. maybe you mean the door lock switch on passenger's side?
any mods done lately on that door and/or harness? maybe the switch connector became dislodged.

i just did the lambo door install. the passengers window was working fine. i checked all my wires they are connected properly...

lastnight approx 10PM every window was working with zero probs. today start car, try to lower windows and the front left window no work! that i know on the drivers side, the function to lock the windows doesn't work as well. i am going to double my wires tomorrow... just wondering if my motor went out or? thanks again mr funky!

Fuse funny business

I was giving my fuses a thorough rundown the other day
and I notice a few ones out of place. For example, in the rear power distribution center, fuse 15 which, according to the manual, says I should have a 20amp fuse in there as I have the 5.7L. Instead I find a 20amp fuse in seat 17 which the manual, and every other resource I can find online, says should be empty. I switched these to correctly reflect the listing and diagram in the manual, and then presto: no more cabin lights, dashlights, or trunk operation. The trunk not opening was especially fun, had to access the rear fuses by way of the backseat :banghead:
So I reversed the fuses to their previous locations and now everything is back to normal.
Additionally, I also had some fuses out of place in the front as well. There was a random 60amp fuse in seat 24, and an extra 5 amp fuse in seat 12. Those have both been pulled.
There were some others in the front that had been swapped out of place, so I swapped them into place.

Does anyone have an explanation for this? Any thoughts?

I am having the same problem hee had with fuse 17; no interior map lights, no dash indicators (blinkers and warnings, etc), no trunk release and no rear window defroster.

But I have replaced fuse 17 and problem is still there. Help please

Hey fnky
Yes, it seems that there were major changes in wiring. The IPM on 2005-2007 Lx's had a few relays pertaining to lighting (ie fog lights, factory HID's and parking lights) The TIPM which replaced the IPM in 2008-2010 seems almost bare in comparison. Where have the relays for front lighting gone? Or are they non- existent, and now buried within the TIPM?

Thanks for this post/thread fnkychkn! I tried to find a diagram on the web showing the relays description for the 05 magnum and this fits the bill! My manual doesn't show them! As posted by dorkore, my 05 magnum also has the 60A fuse in the #24 position but does not have a 5A in the #12 pos. Another discrepancy seems to be that my car has no fuse in the #16 pos. when my manual shows it should have a 20A. Any ideas/explanation/advice?

Still no fog lights...
I found a blown fuse in #7 and replaced it with a new one and I still have no fog lights. (no power)
Is there a circuit breaker that could be tripped or could it be the switch itself? Light comes on (indicator for fog lights)
Any information would greatly be appreciated..

EDIT:
Found the problem and fogs now work. :)
I'm not the brightest sometimes. Lack of sleep will do that to a person. Pulled fuse #7 yesterday and had to run to work. Put a new fuse in what I "thought" was #7.
Got to looking and I hadn't even come close to #7... I think I need to go back to bed for a couple of hours...
