    Valve Spring Height

Does anyone happen to know the stock/factory installed height of a 2010 eagle 5.7 valve spring? I'm seeing varying info...

Thank you so much in advance!

Now I also assume this would be the same for all 2009+ vehicles??

I was looking at the P5160074 which claims to be a mopar performance spring supporting up to .625 lift and is a drop in design. They have it listed for 2011+ 5.7/6..1/6.4 (needs shims) vehicles.

Is there any reason you all can think of as to why this wouldn’t work in a 2010 or even a 2009??? and does anyone have any experience with these or knowledge of these? I believe they are also sold as part of the scat pack/stage 2 upgrade package. Claims to be designed for their performance 5.7 camcshaft wbich I have heard is actually a comp cams possibly 270/274

Ultimately I am looking to install the 6.4/392 cam in my 5.7. I understand, from what I have read on here and other forums, that the stock springs need to be upgraded due to coil binding and valve control...

I got my figures at my dealer I work at. Why they vary i dunno. I would assume those Mopar springs would work. You may want to contact one of the venders for their opinion.

Interesting? I'm wondering if 2009-2010 have their own install height or where the cut off is?? I know you said 2012 is 1.81 but im wondering if 2011 is as well. The dodge mopar performance springs state they are for 2011+ and the mopar performance guy told me last night they are rated for an install height of 1.81.... not sure if they would still be a drop in for me? He did say they include new retainers, springs, shims and I believe spring cup/valve spring seat. They sound like a good deal. wish they would work for me -__-

Hmm. I’m thinking the 2009-2010 1.99 thing might just be specific to tbose years. I wonder why they decided to go from the 1.800 on the pre eagle to 1.99 and then back to 1.81.. probably to make it tougher on us lol

im still slightly confused on this as Im seeing 1.99/2.00 floating around the net... even your old thread here Using 6.1 intake springs on eagle head makes it very confusing
