I have a newbie thread in the newbie forum, but I thought I would post one in the Durham Diehard's section as well to introduce myself.

I've been browsing the forums here, and I must say that you've all got a great club going.

I closed a deal on an 06 Magnum R/T last Saturday, and it was delivered to me this past Tuesday. I've been driving it around this week, as I 30 day warranty on anything and everything, but I will be putting it up and storing it until springtime. Until then, I'll be scooting around in my 98 Sunfire (winter beater.)

I just sold my Infiniti I30t (which was stored during the winter), as it does not have enough trunk space to carry items for two kids.

I know there are quite a few of you guys in the Durham region, so I'm looking forward to getting out and meeting some of you folks eventually.

Previous rides:
89 Ford Tempo
92 Buick Century (carved out of a solid block of steel)
88 Ford 5.0 LX
95 Nissan 240sx
97 Infinti I30t

Current:

04 Corolla (wife's car, I swear!)
98 Sunfire (Winter beater)
06 Dodge Magnum R/T

I've looked through the "Get you up to speed" thread, and there's a lot of good info there.

I've also met Andy from Village Nissan thanks to a recommendation from a thread in the Durham Diehards section!

Also, I'd like to thank the yellow challenger that let me in on the 401W from Salem earlier this week at around 6:15 in the morning! Nice looking car!

I do have one question. Where would be the best place to get an extra key/remote combo? I only got one key/remote when I got the car.

Thanks for your help folks!

Probably your best bet would be Adam @ eastway. He'll give you a good deal. If you're interested, we do meet every Sat. @the timmies @salem and Kingston rd. anytime after 6pm.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I probably won't make it out to a meet very soon, but it is on the radar. Hell, maybe I'll drop by with the Sunfire, since the Magnum is going to be hibernating for the rest of the winter.

And thanks for the remarks about Eastway, I'll try them later. Village Chrysler quoted $199 and $60 for programming. If Eastway is similar, then eBay, here I come!

I couldn't find a pic of my previous summer car (Infiniti I30t) until recently, but I forgot about one I had uploaded to a Picasa album. So in the theme of full disclosure, here is my previous ride, that I sold two weeks ago.
