I want to bag my 06 MSRT with the system from Universal Air Suspensions. I don't have any shops in my area that I trust to do the work, but I have lots of friends and family in the DC/ NOVA/ MD/ area. Any of you DC LXers have a bagged LX and a good shop that did the work? Wouldn't mind the drive up if I could come back a little lower!

Hey Bud- I personally don't know of any shops in the area that do the BAG job but my boy has had 2 trucks of his slammed on Bags at a place in VA called PRO-Trucks. Top Notch quality work and Customer Service and have been bagging trucks for years.

Good Luck.

Ohhh and is there any reason why you wouldn't do it yourself??
I hear its not that hard just time consuming.

I am terrible with anything mechanical! I am afraid I would screw it up and I really want it done right.
What part of VA. is the place you are talking about?

If I bring it up there, how long would you need to have it?

so this is my setup, it my first ever air ride setup. I do mostly car audio builds and some performance parts for my business. here are some of my pics of my air ride build. 2- 3hr left to finish the install.Im just waiting on my friend to get some car off the lift at his shop so I can put it up in the air to finish the job.

here they are:

all the parts laid out in my theater room

More pics, these are of the valves being assembled

laying parts out to get idea where Im going to mount everything

here are more pics of the install

will post up more pictures later. Also when I ordered my kit, I bought the yellow adjustable koni's. That make the install even better. No mods at all. If you use the factory struts, you have to cut the coller off the front strut and notch out some of the strut. since you have an srt, you have to get new rear struts cause they use self leveling shocks in the rear. The car wont drop all the way in the rear without new shocks. If you have over 35k on the car, you should just get the koni's and call it a day. You will have a rie better then stock with the bags+ koni's together. My setup I dont use gauges either, but if you want to drive very low, then you can get gauges.

I made the leap and ordered my kit from UAS yesterday. IMy brother and I are going to attempt the install with another friend who has access to a lift. Keep your fingers crossed! I should be bagged in a couple weeks!

When i did mine. I pre plan everything ahead of time. Location of tank, compressors, valves, etc. I did this off and on over a weekend.

Then i installed the bags and struts and ran all my lines another time. It only took me just 3 hours to this. But it helps when you have a lift and air tools. Take your time and have fun with it.

Thats our plan... do the compressor, tank, etc then take it to the lift when that is all good to go and do the actual bags. I got the koni's so it shouldn't be too bad. Can't wait to get it hooked up. Thank god for UPS tracking. Now I can watch my toys come cross country to me.:pepper:
