Got rid of those plain old rubber pedals and replaced with the Moar stainless ones. I read on ton of posts especially on how difficult the brake pedal is. Thought I would share my experience as someone may find it helpful. The instructions from Mopar where to be honest not very helpful at all.
I did the gas pedal first. This is a simple overlay over top of the existing rubber pedal. Has clips and just snaps in. Took less than 5 minutes.
After struggling with brake petal and enduring multiple cuts to my right hand I started searching the internet for help. There are lots of posts on this. Some folks decide to cut some additional slots in the back of the petal which I didn't want to do. Others say use hot tap water which I tried and still really struggled. In the end what worked for me was near boiling water, removing from the stove and letting it soak for about 5-7 mins. After that the rubber became very pliable and while starting on the left and working toward the gas pedal I was done in 5 mins. My new motto for the brake pedal is "don't struggle and bring it to a boil". You may thank me latter!
