Maximum Care Coverage

Got this with the used HC I purchased and essentially have coverage for 8yr/100K miles or something like that. I'm assuming the answer will be "Don't touch a thing or risk losing coverage"...but is there anything I'll allowed to do? I've already put Dynomax bullets in and have ordered the MFER-1 active exhaust kit. I wanted to put a modified Diablo PCM in (already have a Trinity 2 Platinum) and get some tuning done. Thoughts?

Your sure to get several opinions on warranty. The bottom line is if you tune the car with either your stock pcm or a new one it WILL leave a code that mother mopar can find if major work needs to be done. Even if you delete code with tuner it makes no difference they will find out IF they want to. Some people with modified cars have had major engine, transmission etc. fixed under warranty but they may have been lucky or had a mod friendly dealer. I wouldn’t worry about the bullets or exhaust valves imo. Yes they have to prove your modification caused the failure but they will very likely fight you if the repair is significant. Was this car from a dealer or private party? If from dealer you probably already paid for some if not all the warranty so it depends on how much you want it. If it’s important I would definitely not tune the car.

I have 17,xxx miles and decided to begin modding as I wanted more power and will accept any failures that this may cause. You may want to put some nice sticky tires on and that will feel like you added 100hp and just have fun with it.

Purchased from Dealer with 6500 miles on it. The coverage sounded like a great idea and basically covers everything. I may try making a friend at the dealer next time I stop in. I hear you on the traction...there isn’t any :)

Besides the code set with a PCM swap, the other issue is the miles on your factory PCM will not match car's. Just an FYI. They have all the legal ground to deny your coverage completely just for that.
