Hey Turboluck- I'm thinking of doing the same, as I found a HC with 8k on it locally. Do you have any regrets of doing it? Just finished with the payments, only to have another!
Rubber, rubber, and more rubber. The primary issue with these cars isn't insufficient power. It's ability to put it down. First (start to) fix the traction issue, then look at other things. Unless/until you put drag radials on the car, track it, and bounce the rear, you don't need a driveshaft upgrade.
This is interesting, I can’t even get traction in my 392’s... what is the solution wider rims in the rear ? And then you’re saying it will cause other issues with drive shaft?

That’s not a bad time... I couldn’t break 4.5 and 4.6 on my first scat and Daytona but the new scar hit 4.2 somehow lol
