    Headlight replacement bulbs suggestions

Any suggestions for replacement headlight bulbs? The high beams are horrendous. Yellow and dim.

HID kits aren't too expensive and are fairly easy to install.

I bought a set of LED drop ins off of Amazon and have been really happy with them. They're plug and play and fit under the headlight cover. Best part is that they match the factory fog lamps perfectly and there is no flicker.

I have halogen 60watt sylvania in there now, and for some weird reason on low beam it's a whitish color like LED but on high beam and ugly dim yellow like halogen. I read LED aremt as good in projector lens setups. And HID need a conversion kit. I'm not worried if I have to leave the dust cover off, but I my kid had LED on his Bighorn Dodge and they are brighter than the sun. At$180 they better be. So I'm thinking LED. Time to spend money and live and learn I guess

Once aimed I see great at night. Even if it's not perfect, a world of difference from crappy stock lights. I have had HID's stock on every car I owned since 2001.

    Headlight replacement bulbs suggestions

I went from halogen to LED on my previous car.

It was a world of difference.

I’ll never not convert or have improper lighting again!!!

    Perfect timing, OP!
I'm on a bit of a quest to replace all the bulbs in my headlights and fog lights as well.

I read the same thing about using LEDs in the Halogen projector housings.
I priced out an LED conversion setup using DIODE Dynamics products for my 2013 Charger (With factory halogens headlights/fogs only) and it came upto USD $600 - that is before shipping, duty fees and conversion to CAD $.
I prefer to keep the dust covers installed due to the snow and rain we get here - dont want to risk condensation issues as well.

So as of now, I'm leaning towards replacing all the bulbs with Philips crystalvision replacements as such:

Unless someone can confirm whether or not the LED replacements (some of them seem to have a built in fan at the base as well) will allow for the dust cover to be closed.

What about Oracle lights? Has anyone used their LED kits?
Their builds seems to use a heat sink vs the fan that Diode Dynamics uses...
Sorry, dont mean to hijack your thread OP - do let us know what you end up going with!

I will be replacing my headlight bulbs from hid to led with some fan on it, i hope it fit all in as the dust cap. The brand is gtr ultra 2 led is more expensive than the sv4 from DD. I will post a pic or a video as soon I have them installed
