    This my way...
Plan A - Wash and no wax after drying.
    1. Car wash soap
    2. Micro Fiber wash mitt
    3. Calgon - water softener
    4. Black Magic Wheel cleaner
    5. Ice Clean n Shine
    6. Black Magic Wheel Shine
    7. Micro Fiber drying towel
    8. $5 Leaf Blower
I use car wash soap & Calgon to hold down the water spots. The leaf blower gets rid of 90% of the water. The Clean & Shine removes any leftover water spots. I spray it on as I wipe the leftover water from the leaf blower pass. Tire cleaner gets rid of the grime and brake dust. Lastly a little tire shine for bling.

Plan B - Light dusting & Detail Spray
    1. California Duster
    2. TW Ice
    3. Micro fiber polishing cloths

    Plan C - Wash & Quick Wax
    1. Clay bar
    2. Zymol Cleaner Wax
    3. Palm ROB & 5" foam pad
    4. Micro fiber polishing cloths

Plan D - Wash, Cleaner, Polish & Seal
    1. Clay bar
    2. Optimum Cleaner - Polish - Sealer
    3. HF Variable Speed ROB & 6", 5" & 3" foam pads
    4. Micro fiber polishing cloths

OBTW - The pads will be replaced as the have served me well.

    Results - Outside

OBTW -If you have a Gauze type air filter don't buy that expensive cleaner as the Black Magic wheel cleaner (Wesley's Bleach White) is the same stuff.

Well as long as we are on the Wax On n Wax Off.... We need to clean the the windshield.
    1. Never use 0000 Steel Wool or any other abrasive pad.
    2. Don't wax it either if you want your wipers to work as designed.

I have tried dang near every cleaner, spray know to man and finally come up with my own formula.
    1. 20 oz spray bottle
    2. RainX
    3. Wink Rust Remover
    4. Windshield washer fluid.
    5. Clay Bar
    6. Blue shop towels
Mix 1 oz of RainX & 1 iz of Wink with 18 oz of Windshield washer fluid.
Next clean the windshield with the clay bar a water with about 3 drops of dish soap.
Now apply a spray of Oemy's Cleaner and wipe dry. If you have a some left over haze, spray with just a touch of your soap/water solution and wipe dry.
The haze is due to the RanX. The Wink will remove most hard water spots.

DO NOT use this on anything else, especially window tint.

NOTE - I use to use Micro Fiber cloths but found that Blue shop towels work the best.

Now that you are all ready to go roundup all your supplies... Forget about it as I found a much simpler solution.
Invisible Glass glass cleaner. I still clay bar the windshield now and then to get the grim off the the glass cleaner does not get.

One last tip, got this from a buddy that worked in glass shop... You can polish your windshield with Cerium Oxide polish.
I used my HF ROB and 3" pad.

this is also great stuff thanks... I happen to use the rain x also but I got the one with the glass cleaner built in, works perfectly well, cleans and protects all together... I'm going to try to clay bar the window as that's a great idea...
