    Intake tube

Today I reinstalled my Air Raid intake w/ stock tube and I wrapped the tube with heat wrapping. The temps are so much better. This tells me that i could possibly benefit from a aftermarket tube. Does anyone know where they sell just the tube, preferably an insulated one? I used Google but couldn't find anything other than the kits as a whole. The car is 2018 SP.

    Intake tube

Heat shield is a must in my book.
My custom intake setup uses it. The hood seal use to be burning hot after a drive home now it and the air cleaner are cool to the touch no matter how long I drove for. I put heat shield on the underside and sides of this:

The stock "tube" on the 6.4 is a rubber (accordion style) hose, that's kind of an awkward and small shaped. How did you wrap it with "heat wrapping?"

If you did change it out, I don't think you'd see huge gains but you'd need to consider the material wisely to replace it. As a metal tube could retain heat and give you higher IAT's actually.
