The best on the market today is True Cold Air intake by Chris at Legmaker (one of our vendors). In our race group most cars run that. Ask Renfrik1 about his before and after at Vmp a while back. I was there and saw his results, no BS.

    Great question!

On my 392 I currently have the Speedlogix carbon fiber CAI, which was dyno proven by 3rd party and added 11 rwhp.

Speedlogix Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake Kit 2011-2018 392/6.4L Challenger/Charger/300/Grand Cherokee/Durango

LMI makes a great CAI too which have been very popular:

    Legmaker Intakes

Bwoody is another great option, they work well and come in a handful of different colors:

    BWoody Performance

If we can help any any questions let us know.

    Thanks,

    Alexis

I didn't want to modify anything in my engine bay, so I went with the much hated K&N "cold air" intake. It's not really a true cold air system, but oh well.

Well here is what I have been playing with. Stock tube from lid to throttle body (for now, gets heat soaked) hell cat lower box, fresh air tube and k & n drop in.

Outside temp 41* , driving around about a half hour with stop and go traffic. Back down the road goosing it.

No-one would believe without pics that I saw 39* IAT with ambient 40*

    I will show you this.FullSizeR.jpg

Simply put, unless you have a system in place (like a functional A/C evaporator) that cools the air as it passes through the air box into the intake, you will NOT see an AIT lower than ambient temperature. Period. It is a physical impossibility.

Yep even if driving very fast and hard on the throttle, the engine bay heat on the intake tract ends up heating the intake air. It's like all that trouble to get cool air in there is foiled by your engine bay using the air charge as cooling for a bunch of underhood stuff you could care less about hehe.

I'm running HC airbox with K&N drop in (and by the way, I never re-oil these, I just drop in the trash - they just don't flow as well after a re-oil/clean)

My car came with a factory srt intake but I’m going to be making my own soon. I do NOT wanna cut my engine bay like it’s needed with some of the current cold air offerings. Gonna see what I can do to avoid that.

I love my LMI Hellcat intake!

I'm not into chasing nickle and dime bolt on hp, but my supercharger SCREAMS with this intake... and that's what the doctor ordered.
