Check out the Speedlogix Carbon Fiber CAI, I have this on my 392. No cutting needed very quick and easy to install.

I had the LMI hammer on my CSRT8. And I hated it. Made too much noise for me.

I have been contemplating getting the new design JLT intake. They re designed the air box and it also has the opening to add the hellcat air scoop. It’s kind of in my opinion the best of both worlds utilizing a open element filter, a sealed air box, and utilization of the hellcat air ducting

WTH then buy the mopar piece of crap. Everyone( well that's an over statement , but many do) who is serious about racing has a LMI true cold air. all others are eye candy and don't suck.
The mod is easy and if you ask folks they can provide a wood template to make it a no brainer.
why do you see so many CAI for sale ... cuz the all take air from the engine compartment right after the air went thru the radiators and is hot.
go ahead and waste your money speed logic likes $$.

I got the K&N cold air intake a few weeks ago. I cant notice a difference in throttle response or sound (mini bullets in place of mids) but my AITs are around 5-8* above ambient temp when driving. Of course, when I stop they climb high fast. I will say, the on-board dyno says I'm making over 500hp now.

I remember a post from the cherokeesrt8 forums about CAI...how it was pointless because the factory intake CFM rate was almost on par with aftermarket applications...plus the enclosure helped fight against higher intake temps

Ya, if I could take it back I'd probably just throw in a k&n drop in filter and maybe make it a hellcat airbox. Too late now. Haha
