Hello everyone,

Just wanted to post this so anyone considering the mods for a 5.7 has an idea of expected results.
I am heading back to the dyno tomorrow morning for post mod pulls....but my initial run with just a canned 93 tune, and super 44 exhaust a few years ago gave me 361 RWHP and 373 tq.
I know this is on the higher end, but I'm not a dyno tech so I cannot answer as to why this is. It just is for my particular car.

I have the 2011 RT with the following mods. All 392 parts were purchased on the forums in support of one another. Thanks to each of you for helping me out.
I'm breaking loose easier in first and getting 2nd gear chirp in auto stick. I'm not making 392 power I don't think...but hoping I'm not too far away. We shall see....

Throttle response is damn near immediate, and there is no slack in pickup down low. I honestly feel like I have a new engine again.
Mods:
392 intake and injectors -$175
392 shorties and high flow mids - $200
Super 44's with 3" pipes - $350
Machined my 5.7 heads -$500
Intake wire harness etc- $400
Spectre CAI -$150
180 T-Stat - $20
Custom email tune -$125
Right around 2k all said and done

I have a mild cam sitting in my garage but wanted to do this first, so the cam will have its own dyno in the future.
If you have a 5.7 and haven't done much to it....I highly recommend these easy to install mods. Inexpensive, but a whole lot of fun. Butt dyno says very noticeable difference : )

Kind of on your tail with my 2013 Daytona. Just need the 392 intake manifold. Whats the Intake Wire Harness all about?

you were about 40% $$ to a magnuson supercharger. If i did it all over again, cam, exhaust etc, i would go with a supercharger first..
that's hindsight, .
Watch out it's like crack... you just need more and more, just sayin.:thumbs_u:
post your numbers , it will be nice to see your progress.

Well hell....first let me preface this by saying I went to a different dyno guy than last time. Mostly because I was curious....partially because he did 3 runs for $100 lol. Two things I think went against me. He wasn't a big Mopar person...mostly old Chevys....
He didn't have HP software, so it was just pulls. And I believe he said he did 3rd gear pulls... I did data log them to send to my tuner for review however.

Secondly, I personally felt he was shifting through the gears a little early. I'm no dyno tech by any stretch, but I do know my car. And felt a little more power could have been brought out with a little more aggressive handling. But, that's just my opinion.
We only hit 127mph on the top end of the runs....I know this car can pull more than that. I've done it.

Lastly, I think I may have one of the SRV pins not all the way in....which would explain the loss of power from my stock run.

Anyway, all that to share today's results.
My first, and best run showed 341 RWHP and 408 tq.
2nd - 340 RWHP and 402 tq
3rd - 338 RWHP and 398 tq.

Again, this was just for an idea of what I'm putting down. I'm sure it will be different slightly when I'm back at my Mopar tuner after the cam install Over the winter. Just the short headers alone I assumed would have me up close to 375.... More to come after I talk with my tuner.

it will not let me post pics of the print out for some reason, but the graph wasn't nearly as smooth as I thought it would have been.
