Years ago, I swap the caddy cluster into my GM truck. It was one of my fav. mods. Now if this thing would actually work.. I'd do the swap. I really like the new clusters over my 2013's.. and would def. be on board for this mod.
Yeah Avidcode #CarConnect.
They did a lot more with the BCMs in the 2011-2014 and then the 2015 cars.
Some of which can mess up your car if you fool with it too much.
Joe and the crew at ZAutoTech are much more conservative in this matter and only release features that are deemed safe (or at least safer than Avidcode was).
The method is similar to how the TranZformer works.
Listen on the bus for the traffic.
When you find the message you're looking for, intercept it, interpret it, modify it and then (re)transmit it on the bus.
Working on auto correcting milage and it’s done. Almost there too been using it the past week and man it’s like factory!! Check out my instagram @dubb45 I’ll post some update videos later.
I don’t think they will I haven’t tried that yet. I’m sure my code will work with it too a lot of the challenger stuff is the same as the charger stuff and a lot is just plain OBDII stuff so should be universal p
I think they need to clarify WHAT clusters it works with as there are like 6 different part # for cluster for 2015-2016. Does it work with the 2017? (different part # again) As the have a 200mph cluster
Tazer needs to say exactly what part # of clusters they have tested this with before someone puts down $500 to $900 for a cluster.
