    Grinding 3rd gear

I’m trying to figure out why I’m grinding third gear at high RPMs but just driving around town there’s no issue at all

Have you removed the clutch delay valve yet? Makes a big difference to take that thing out of the system.

I have the same problem with 4th gear, normal driving and shifting below 3000 rpms its fine above that it just grinds up or down shift. If I shift it firm and quick I get a loud crunch out of it but it go in, I have had the CDV valve out for a few years,I pulled the trans and cleaned and regrease the input and put a new clutch and fluid in and it's still real notchy in 2nd and 3rd and 4th is shot. Never liked this trans since the day I bought my R/T 8 years ago, worst shifting manual trans I have ever owned, JUNK!
